Presenters:  Bill Hanson, President of Innovative Risk Management and Robert Weaver, Eastern Region Vice President of FCA International

Why it’s Important to Participate:
As OSHA’s enforcement of rule (29 C.F.R. 1926.1153) Respirable Crystalline Silica continues to gain momentum, it is important for contractors to stay knowledgeable and compliant to avoid being cited. Bill Hanson, President of Innovative Risk Management, will discuss the different compliance options contractors have, such as Table 1 and Objective Data, and will answer any questions on which option would be best for your jobsites.

Our second presenter Bob Weaver, Eastern Region Vice President of FCA International, will discuss FCA’s current research on product testing and air monitoring that is helping develop an objective data database to support contractors in their silica air monitoring requirements.

About the Speakers:

Bill Hanson
Bill Hanson is President of Innovative Risk Management and is a loss control specialist with years of experience in implementing new programs to reduce losses and costs, assisting with the development of new training programs, and claims management.

Robert (Bob) Weaver
Bob Weaver has served as FCA International’s Eastern Region Vice President since 2010. Bob is FCA’s liaison for its Painting & Wallcovering Committee as well as its Drywall Finishing committee, and he has helped lead FCA’s silica initiative. He has over 30 years of industry experience, having previously served as a president and CEO of a signatory drywall company, as well as holding senior management positions at AMES Taping Tools.
