Falls from elevation continue to be a leading cause of death for construction and general industry employees. In construction alone, falls accounted for 381 of the 971 construction fatalities recorded in 2017 (39.2%). Many of these deaths are preventable.
This webinar will provide an update on best practices for implementing and managing your organization’s fall protection program and explain how to use fall protection equipment effectively.
Topics to be addressed:
- Information on how to proactively manage fall protection
- Explore key program elements such as policies, duties and responsibilities, training, hazard identification, fall protection procedures
- Eliminating or controlling fall hazards
- Rescue procedures and implementation
- Incident investigation and program evaluation
There will be information on how you can apply the ANSI/ASSP Z359 Fall Protection Code and the applicable A10 standards to elevate your program beyond OSHA compliance to reduce injuries, lower costs and create efficiencies in your organization.
You will also gain insight about the synergy between OSHA compliance and the Z359 Fall Protection Code and voluntary national consensus standards.
