Join FCAI for their Clay Target Shoot & Pistol Challenge on Friday, October 25! The event will take place at Coon Creek Hunt Club in Garden Prairie just west of Marengo. All members are invited and welcome to bring their employees, clients, and friends.
Clay target shooting (Trap, 5-Stand, and Duck Blind), a 4-stall 50 ft pistol range, and an archery range will be available. For the clay target and pistol events, instructors will accompany each group of shooters. For those “first-timers”, an instructor demonstration will be given on how to properly shoot a shotgun safely before the event begins. Gun rental and ammo is available and complimentary.
For those with shooting experience, please bring all necessary equipment including ear and eye protection. Please bring your own bow for archery. Bows or arrows will not be supplied.
For clay shooting, 12 or 20 gauge shotguns are recommended. No assault shotguns. Ammo allowed for clay shooting is 7 shot steel. For the pistol range, nothing larger than a 45mm is allowed. Jacketed bullets only. No rapid fire. If you do not have these items they will be supplied by the club.
You will be paired up in groups of five. When registering please include the names of the people you wish to be grouped with. Otherwise, we will randomly pair you with others.

Afternoon Session Participants, please arrive at 12 p.m.

- Drinks and snacks available in clubhouse
- Alcoholic drinks available after each session
