FCAI Fall Meeting “The Olympic Experience”

Join FCAI of Illinois for our Fall Membership Meeting featuring four Winter Olympians from the Chicagoland area for an interactive panel discussion moderated by FCAI Executive Director Mark Palmer.
Representing figure skating and speed skating, the athletes will share stories about preparing for the Olympics, performing under pressure, overcoming setbacks, teamwork and what it’s really like to compete on the world’s biggest stage.
The evening begins with cocktails and networking, followed by dinner and the Olympic panel discussion. FCAI members, associate members, spouses and guests are welcome. Attendance is complimentary.

Meet the Athletes
Alexa Knierim
Pairs Figure Skating
A two-time Olympic medalist, Alexa won team gold in 2022 and team bronze in 2018. She is also a 2022 World Champion and five-time U.S. National Champion.
Emery Lehman
Speed Skating
A four-time U.S. Olympian, Emery represented Team USA at the 2014, 2018, 2022 and 2026 Winter Olympics, winning team pursuit bronze in 2022 and silver in 2026.
Ethan Cepuran
Speed Skating
Ethan represented Team USA at the 2022 and 2026 Winter Olympics, earning team pursuit bronze in 2022 and silver in 2026.
Nancy Swider-Peltz Sr.
Speed Skating
The first American to compete in four Winter Olympics in speed skating, Nancy is a two-time world record holder who competed in eight Olympic Trials over four decades.
